HI I'M RESHMA ODEDRA
Welcome to my website. My name's Reshma and I’ve been on my health and fitness journey for over 8 years, stepping into a gym 4 years ago! I’m not your typical PT - I never liked sports and was never athletic growing up and I was your typical skinny Indian girl where lifting weights and eating a lot of food for a woman, isn't widely understood in my culture.
I also had absolutely no strength and used to miss my PE classes at school all the time because exercise was not for me!
Accidentally having fallen into joining the Gym at university, I made it a habit to go everyday without any goals or purpose.
But I knew I didn't want to be that weak, shy girl anymore and so in the last 4 years I have tried various eating habits, different diets and workout methods whilst learning and applying the principles to help me gain muscle and strength!
My own transformation shocked me, as well as the people around me. I fell in love with exercise and food and then got my PT L3 qualification so I can educate myself even more as well as help hundreds of people!
What’s your health & fitness ethos?
I have a fairly relaxed attitude towards health and fitness and I don’t promote quick changes. I believe in working through the mental process and changing habits to get there. I don't believe in obsessing over results through weighing scales and constantly checking for changes. I promote sustainable living! This is not supposed to be a temporary fix, it's more a lifestyle change to become the best version of yourself - not a program where you’re jumping on and off the bandwagon.
Diet and exercise doesn't need to be a HUGE effort or overly complicated. I want people to understand you can feel and look great without completely cutting out carbs, sugar and your favourite foods. You also don't have to be in the gym 6 days a week and you are allowed to rest! Balance and a healthy approach is key!
How will your program help people?
It will help women gradually get closer to their dream body whether that's putting on weight and gaining muscle, growing glutes or losing some fat and slimming down.
Most importantly , I want you to fall in love with the process, create mindful eating and exercise habits and strengthen a better relationship with yourself and food & exercise.
It's about creating permanent changes in mentality and focusing on the bigger picture rather than rushing to achieve a temporary physical goal.
Do you specialise in anything?
Although I offer plans for any goal, my speciality (and what I get asked about a lot) is growing the glutes, gaining muscle (mainly in the glutes and legs) and gaining weight in general. I get asked a lot to help girls achieve and maintain that overall ‘Slim thick’ body by having a small, toned waist and large glutes.
